Lac-Tremblant-Nord is an important wilderness ecosystem surrounded by frenetic development in the adjacent communities

The watersheds of Lac-Tremblant-Nord have important topographical, ecological and heritage features. The mountains, mature forests, wetlands, streams, lakes, and abundant flora and fauna form a vital ecosystem. This is a priority area for wildlife movement and is part of the Tremblant to Oka eco and wildlife corridors in the conservation plan of Quebec.
